New Product - Carbaglu

Carbaglu (carglumic acid) is a structural analogue of N‑acetylglutamate (NAG) and is indicated in the treatment of hyperammonaemia due to N‑acetylglutamate synthase primary deficiency; hyperammonaemia due to organic acidaemias such as hyperammonaemia due to isovaleric acidaemia, methymalonic acidaemia, and propionic acidaemia. Breastfeeding during the use of carglumic acid is contraindicated. Carbaglu is available as 200 mg dispersible tablets in packs 5’s.
