Changes to eMIMSCloud Interactions Checker

You may notice with this month’s update there are some changes to the eMIMSCloud Interactions Checker.

Faster input for checking multiple drugs
eMIMS has disabled automatic searching after each new drug is entered into the Interactions Checker, and enabled the user to control when you wish the search to be performed. This will reduce wait time and speed up the process of adding multiple medications into the program. Simply choose the generic or brand from the autosuggest dropdown list as before and when you are ready click the search button.

Colour coded severity levels
The interactions search results table has become more colourful. The severity levels of the interactions have been colour coded to provide a quick visual cue to help identify the most serious interactions.

Easy navigation between interaction details
The interaction details now appear as a pop up window when an interaction in the search results table is clicked on. The pop up includes a colour coded navigation menu down the left hand side for easy navigation between interactions and retains the print, email or save to pdf functions as before.
