New Product - Nasonex Allergy Aqueous Nasal Spray

Nasonex Allergy Aqueous Nasal Spray (mometasone furoate monohydrate) is a topical glucocorticosteroid with local anti-inflammatory properties at doses that are not systemically active. It is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis and prophylaxis of seasonal allergic rhinitis for up to 6 months in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Nasonex Allergy Aqueous Nasal Spray is contraindicated in severe nasal infection (especially candidiasis); recurrent nasal bleeding history; haemorrhagic diathesis; prolonged use greater than 6 months (without advice of doctor or pharmacist); and in children less than 12 years. It is available as a metered atomising pump unit (50 microgram/dose) containing 65 and 140 actuations per unit.
