New Product - Gammanorm

Gammanorm (human normal immunoglobulin) contains the IgG antibodies present in the normal population, with a broad spectrum of antibodies against infectious agents. It has a distribution of IgG subclasses closely proportional to that in native human plasma. Adequate doses of Gammanorm may restore abnormally low IgG levels to the normal range. Gammanorm is indicated as replacement therapy in adults, children with primary immunodeficiency syndrome, myeloma or chronic lymphocytic leukaemia with severe secondary hypogammaglobulinaemia and recurrent infections. Gammanorm is contraindicated in those with homologous Ig hypersensitivity (especially very rare IgA deficiency with IgA antibodies). Gammanorm is not for intramuscular administration in severe thrombocytopenia or other haemostatic disorders. Gammanorm is available as 10 mL and 20 mL vials containing human normal immunoglobulin 165 mg/mL.
